Saturday Night's Alright!
10/29/2006 07:03:00 PM So yeah, I had this big fun blog written about Saturday's adventures, and then blogger just ate them. Anyways, Saturday morning Sam and I decided to go to the St. Louis Zoo. We spent the majority of our time with the prarie dogs and the penguins, of course. We got to see them feed the penguins, and I tried to feed the prarie dogs, but they didn't like me. Or my lettuce anyways. I was a little hurt. I blame the garlic caeser salad smell. After that we hit up the dollar tree for a little bit, and in my excitement I bought a bunch of christmas cards--even though we were there looking for cheap Halloween decorations. We also went and saw "The Prestige" which I've been wanting to see forever. It only made me love Hugh Jackman more. He's definitley at the top of my lobster list now. 1) He's really hot. 2) He's very versatile as an actor (seriously who ele can go be Wolverine one minute and then a flamboyantly gay man in gold shiny pants singing on Broadway -he has an amazing voice, btw) and 3) He seems very genuine and cute and funny in his interviews. I particularly loved him on Leno and especially Ellen. Then we went to eat supper at Marletto's. For some reason I got two bowls of cocoa puffs, and when I sat down I didn't want either of them. So I put one in front of Sam, cause she was occassionally eating a few (after I started throwing them at her), and then she randomly grabbed a bunch and I thought she was gonna throw them at me, but she just shoved them in her mouth. I burst out laughing and then decided we needed to have a cocoa puff eating contest--with no hands of course. So we leveled our bowls to make sure they were even and then shoved our faces in. It was hilarious and we kept laughing the whole time and spilling cocoa puffs all over and making funny noises, so I'm sure everyone was starting at us like we were idiots, but it was so fun. And absolutley ridiculous. But fun for an impromptu supper. After that we came home and were supposed to play cards with our suitemate Christina, but she ditched us for some boys so we ended up watching "Wrong Turn" which I'd never seen, and probably will never watch again, despite the fact that my precious Eliza Dushku is in it. Sorry babe...it sucked. You were even better on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And that's Saturday. Sunday was just me at work which = boring, so no need to waste a full paragraph on that. |
