It's true.

Last night Sam and I went to the screening of the orginial 35mm print of "Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", with live accompaniment from the Boston group "Devil Music Ensemble" and it was actually really really good. Like fantastic.

I kinda fell in love with the guy on the right, whoever he may be, mainly because he played violin to the film, but also the keyboard, and the xylaphone. It just seemed to take a bit of talent you know, to be the sort of musician who's well rounded enough to play both the violin and the xylaphone. The dude in the middle just played guitars, and the guy on the left played drums, piano, and also did some live sampling. In that way and the way he played the drums it was kinda reminiscent of Mute Math.

But that may have only been because I had Mute Math on the brain before the show started. The peeps in front of us were talking about some cd this guy burned for this girl, and I heard her say "Snow Patrol" and I was like, "I LOVE SNOW PATROL!" to Sam. She was like, "I knew you had to be listening to that, haha" and then this other girl asked, "Are they kinda like Mute Math?" and I was like, "I LOVE MUTE MATH!!". Only I must have been slightly louder this time because the dude heard and was like, "You like Mute Math?" I replied with "Of course! Are you gonna see them next weekend at the Creepy Crawl?" and he said that yes, he and the girl to the left would be there, and asked if I was too, and I was like, "I will most definitely be there rocking out" which sounded kinda funny, and Sam and I started laughing, and then the lights went out for the movie to start.

Which was great like I mentioned earlier. So, I guess that pretty much brings it back full circle = end of blog post.
