2/18/2007 06:19:00 PM Hmmm, sounds like someone wrote themselves a happy little ditty about depression? I think I like it. One Minute You’re going crazy, Running on empty, You can’t make up your mind, You try to hide it, But you had to say it, Restless all this time, So completely drained from every thing that’s in your life, It’s so wrong but you had to scream every thought you kept inside, One minute you laugh, The next minute you’re slowly sinking into something black, I get the feeling that lately nothing ever really lasts,I keep trying to get up but I keep falling back, And you love, And you hate, And you wait, Cause one minute goes fast, You just can’t escape it, You’re losing patience, You wonder what went wrong, Everything changes, Happy then jaded, Always a different song, Playin’ in your head just when you think you got it down, Out of nowhere you realize it’s different music playing now, One minute you laugh, The next minute you’re slowly sinking into something black, I get the feeling that lately nothing ever really lasts, I keep trying to get up but I keep falling back, And you love, And you hate, And you wait, Cause one minute goes fast |

i'm really not sure how i feel about this. "happy little ditty about depression" is what i think confuses me. Its like i want it to be a little slower combined with her angry-ness and maybe a little more guitar. but, i do, however, know that i very much enjoy her hair.
I like the irony of it being upbeat. I think the fact that the song is upbeat and kind of drowns into the lyrics illustrates how she is hiding all of these feelings and pushing them into her music, in her life as well as the song. Too psychoanalystic? Maybe.

If that song makes the new record, I think it'll have that extra angst you're looking for. According to David Kahne the producer, the version they recorded is "more harder". The grammar error is his not mine, lol.
uh....i think that was a picture of eva longoria...no? i'm confused. either way, i enjoyed her hair mucho.
okay, i just tried it again and i don't know who that was...but she wasn't wearing much. i'm so confused!!!
Eva? I totally get a picture of the KC with some random fan/nascar/dude...with the red stripey shirt and shades? And the short hair(which was the point of the pic, lol) ?
