John & Canada 7/15/2006 12:24:00 PM

So my brother just got back from his fishing trip to Canada at 5am this morning.

This was his first time leaving the country, and he absolutely loved it. Not only did he think it was so cool, just to leave the US, but they had great fishing, and he loved the people there (he said every single person he met was really kick ass, and really nice or really funny, haha), and was talking about the different rivers and lakes they got to fish. They went to Glaslynd Saskatchawynn, Prince Albert, Saskatoon, Nipawin, and some small towns. He was in Knuckerville for about 15 days, and now had to try and shake off the "eh" he picked up while talking, lol. They were pretty much central and then East and then as North as it goes.

The very first day he caught a 29 1/2 inch 11 pound Walley, and the biggest northern he's caught in his life, and sounded excited about "some really sweet pics of these pelicans at the last lake". And to end the whole trip, he and his friend Phil had a giant bag of Canadian coins left, so they just gave them to some kid, who was so happy he about crapped his pants (apparently it was near 50 bucks worth).

So far its the best vacation he's ever been on and he can't wait to go back. He's thinking he wants to make it a yearly thing untill he dies. Which is just awesome. I'm so excited for him to have gotten to go, and to have such a great experience. Can't even describe how cool that is for him. I'm just happy for him, and glad he enjoyed it.
