Last Day Before Classes 1/22/2006 04:41:00 PM

Today was a good day. Started off waking up late, because apparently my phone can't tell time, and was a few hours behind. 9AM was really 11AM I guess. I really need to get a little alarm clock. Hopefully I'll wake up for classes tommorrow.

Anyways, since tommorrow has not yet began, and today is past, I'll talk about that. Today at noon I went down to eat lunch with the girls from last night, and then Becca, Jen, Abby, and I went down to Camden Market, were eventually Abby and Jen were lost, and Tiffany (the girl whose name I couldn't remember) and Nohl were found. Of course, me being more into the music than shopping I just kept wandering off to places where I heard Annie Lennox or U2, before they would drag me back like a little kid so I wouldn't get lost. So once I was confined to following everyone into shoe stores that had no interest whatsoever to me besides dancing around to the techno music they blared, we continued on. Finally wearing ourselves out, and realizing we couldn't buy much anyways, we started to head back to campus. Pics from the park and market:

(you can't really tell, but far in the back of these pics, there were a bunch of lads playing rugger/rugby)

On the way back through the park we ran into Lana, and walked with her back to the college, and grabbed a snack in the refectory. Then everyone kinda chilled in their rooms for a bit, and gloated over their meager purchases. Mine involve presents for others so I won't speak of them here. Although I did get the Tracy Chapman Collection (cd) for a pound, which is like $2, so that was amazing. After a while Becca and I went downstairs to find Nohl, Chris, and Anthony to go get supper.

Although some other girls (slightly more annoying and ditzy) decided to come, and then they wanted to go eat Chinese in Picadilly Circus which is kinda far, and you have to take the tube and we were all feeling cheap and like going somewhere quick and within walking distance. So they left with Chris, and the rest of us grabbed Abby and Shawn and decided to just walk down Baker Street and find somewhere, then Shawn and Anthony left us to go to the pub downstairs before we even left campus, so the 4 of us girls ended up at Pizza Express, which is actually more of a fancy bistro, contrary to the image the name provokes. But it was still fairly cheap, and good. So all was well. Afterwards we popped into the tube station to get a piece of candy for an even cheaper dessert, so of course I took pics of those, and posed idiotically for the others in theirs. I'll have to get ahold of those later...:

I thought you said they got rid of the double deckers?? Does that mean that they're still around???

I told you on the last double decker post. Yes they got rid of them, because they were too impractical BUTTTTTTT!!!! They are still running about 6 just for historic purposes, and those ones are the ones with the closed tops.
