I Feel Lion King-y
1/15/2006 10:46:00 PM I have two days left before I leave the country for four months, and although I'm a bit nervous, and kinda feel rushed, like I'm running out of time and there's still too much to do (although even if I had another week I probably still wouldn't feel prepared)although there's this settling calm that just sorta takes over when I think about it, like, "It's Time". 'Cause really it is, and although I'm trying to hang on to everything/everyone in the LC knowing that I'll miss them, I am in fact ready to make my little journey. This is the Lion King-y part (well, besides the "It is time" thing *said in a very Rafiki voice*) There's just this feeling of awe-inspiring anticipation, for something greater than I can imagine waiting for me. I know this will be an experience of a life-time, and I can't wait to live through it. |

Yay Steph! I'm so proud and VERY jealous of you for going to England. I hope you have an awesome time over there and don't have so much fun you forget about the crazy red head and company back in little ole Nebraska. Good luck and keep in touch!!!!! Heck, I know you'll keep in touch, you're STEPH!
This is going to be an exciting adventure for you. It's just too bad that you aren't going to get to have a giant musical for when you leave ; ). When i first saw the title i thought that this could simply be taken care of by watching a movie, but then after reading it i realized that its something that doesn't neccisarily need to be taken care of, its something that needs to be experienced. I know that everything is going to go well for you in London, its going to be a new adventure filled with exciting new things. And remember that if ever you get down while you're in London, you can look to the stars. "Look at the stars, the great kings of the past are up there, watching over us." "Yes. So whenever you feel alone just remember that those kings will always be there to guide you." Good luck in London, and remember, I'll be over to see in you a short couple months. (spring break is March 11-19)Best of luck overseas and remember, we're only a messenger/email/facebook away.
