Good Day Today 2/18/2005 05:49:00 PM

So far today has been great in comparison to my last two weeks. Everything has been so hectic lately. Today isn't any different, but I finally feel as if I've got a hold on things and adjusted to my new schedule. Last night I got home at 9, wrote my film review, and still had time to fight with Will in the hallway, and read a few chapters of "Lucky" (Alice Sebold) before I went to bed listening to my live Jason Mraz sleepy-time tunes.

Then this morning I got up at 8:00 am, had time to grab a bowl of canteloupe on my way to the editing booth (first time I've had breakfast since coming back from break), worked on my video project untill 12:00, had time to go to lunch for about an hour, and another hour to read a short play due monday, before I headed to work at 2:00. And today I was the only one for a while, untill 3 or 4 when I met a new co-worker...who is from CANADA! Yeah, she's awesome. We disscussed celebrities, and she even said, "Eh?"..isnt that cool! Today had been really busy for a Friday, but I'm happy because I've only had to ask one question about a phone call, and for the rest I've been able to actually solve their problems. So that's cool. Today has been my favorite/best day at work! And now it is like 6:00, and I have one more hour to go, before I go home (we had a lull in calls, so I figure I better update while I can). That means I have at least 5 hours to watch a eat some dinner while watching 2 hr film, write the review, and do some final editing to my radio commerical. Which is actually more time than I thought I would have.

So it's actually a good thing. And then tommorrow morning I'll be in the studio recording for a while, but then after taking care of some more stuf I get to see KEANE! Hopefully this weekend will end up great. Jam packed, but hopefully I'll get some good work done, and out of the way. It's amazing how much you learn to not miss sleep when you get up early every day. So it's probably a good thing that I don't have time to sleep in on weekends anymore, otherwise I would die Monday. Plus it's great for the ego when you are complaining about being so busy, compared to complaining cause you feel so worthless about getting nothing done in a day. I don't like that feeling, so having a routine schedule is good for me. Except now I feel more like my mom than ever, carrying around my little day planner, rushing off to everywhere all energetically ;)

Hey Steph, it's great to hear you had such a wonderful day at work, that makes me happy. And Canadians rule!!! Oh, did you hear they inducted a new national slogan? The new slogan is, "We're number 2!" Apparently the locals love it. And to show how strong they are the mounties now ride their horses without saddles.Anyway, Canadians are fun to play with, just make sure you don't break em. Keep it real. Irish Midget.

I like that slogan too.

But I think I wish it were "Canada: America's Hat"
