I despise Philip Zimbardo
9/03/2004 11:57:00 AM Current Mood: dirty Current Music: "Car Wash" Christina Aguilera ft. Missy Elliot The squirrels here freak me out... They dont have bushy tails at all. The have just like normal skinny tails. Like a dog's tail, but on a squirrel. That freaks you out too now, doesnt it, after I made you picture that mental image? See. So some of you know how my shower suddenly started pouring water from the ceiling. Well, supposedly maintanence came and fixed it. But then there was a huge hole in our ceiling, but no waterfall thankfully. I guess the floor above us had a leak. But yesterday, the floor below us was flooding. And it happened to be the room below ours. So we were told not to shower untill this morning at 8:30, so since I didn't have time to shower before class, I was looking forward to it when I got home. But apparently my roomate showered this morning and found out its still broke. So she got yelled at, and found out we cant use it untill we get a phone call now......and I'm still dirty. So today in Writing we talked about rising action. (how hard was it to not rip my arm off and throw it at the people writing that crap down) But it's okay, because it was in relation to Maya Angelou, who I'm in love with now. Of course I've always known who she was, like in terms, of great writer, poet etc., but I thought she was dead untill I saw her on Letterman recently, and I was like, Hey, she's not that old....and she's kinda spunky. Anyway, I never really gave it much more thought after that, but we've been reading some stuff from one of her autobiographies, and I love her. So does Oprah. You should too. And now in Psychology we're actually doing Biology. And you all know how I hate science without "Pandy", so that sucks. And just to make matters worse, apparently Philip Zimbardo is also an expert on parts of the brain and science relating to Psychology, so that means I had to watch another dreadful tape with him today. He's starting to sound more womanly every time I hear him. Today it was almost mouse-like. I did forget how much I love the intro to his tapes though with the people in the bubble, especially the baby (remember that Kayla?) I hope Charley has Psychology so she can have the change to enjoy that experience with Mrs. Gregory. The boy in the bubble is the best. But anyways, my Psych teacher says, "and so on and so forth" alot, along with "and what have you", but I'm thinking I'll get over it. After all he gave us coloring books today :) (I feel bad if he really thinks that'll help me learn the parts of the brain...are you kidding me, put a coloring book in my hands, and your just asking to distract me for hours) And I with pleasure turned my Psych paper in today, only to recieve another assignment, to do along with 3 others from other classes for next week. TGIF! (I miss Salem the wise cracking cat) |
