I'm having a great day!
10/27/2004 10:59:00 AM Okay, so this morning I actually woke up before my alarm clock (even though it was to the sound of construction work outside my window). Which is nice, if any of you get the same feeling of dread, when you are thrust from slumber by some terrible noise, and only wish for 10 more minutes of sleep. Anyways, my point in this is that it is so much easier to get up and shower when you wake up naturally and are READY to get up, rather than forced to. So then I go to Psychology, and am slightly dissapoined (and kinda freaked out, since I just discussed this with Charley) when we pop in a Phillip Zimbardo tape--not just Phillip Zimbardo, or Phillip Zimbardo with a very crookedly/uneven shaved goatee (which I noticed within the first 10 secs), BUT, Phillip Zimbardo and the "Developing Child"! Yes, this means I had to watch a baby, and all the nastiness, being pulled from the womb (which we also saw lots of) A-GAIN! But I was pleased that I actually found myself being able to avoid the traps of boredom and dream-land, to midly pay attention in class. Then I was pleasantly surprised as I was walking to my next class (Writing) to see a classmate (well, I didnt see her, she startled me from my book about how to write proper english, that I was re-scanning while walking to class since none of it obviously stuck the first time) Anyways, she told me that class was cancelled, and that there was a note on the door that she didnt see untill she had already sat there 15 mins and no teacher showed. (She goes early cause shes a commuter, and parking spots are really really really hard to find) So I turn and walk with her, back towards main campus (my Writing Class is in one of the houses) so along the way, we calmly deliver the message to all our classmates we encounter, so soon there is just a big group of almost our entire class, walking down the street like some gang, and another classmate, Bree, is walking on the other side of the street and fails to look up as we try to get her attention. Finally she crosses, and looks up as she almost walks into the mob, and starts to wave (because of course she knows us, and thats something you do when you see someone you know in passing) and then she stops, and realizes that it is our entire Writing class, and is like, "Do we have a field trip?"....sorry, if you were there it was just really funny. So anyways, I have no class, and i dont have to work tonight because I worked for Jiwana Monday, so the day is going great so far. Except, now, this means that I have time to finally unpack from fall break, so I will have to do that. But I was in such a great mood as I walked into the room, I thought that updating you guys on my delightful dipostition seemed more fun first. Now I can go clean. That's all :) |

I'm glad you were having a great day! Did it get better or worse as the day progressed? I hope you have more great days. I think everyone should be entitled to atleast 300 great days a year. You need some crapy days to realize how great the great days truely are. At the time you wrote this blog my day seemed to be going downhill, but now it seems to be a great day. (Thanks for your part of that.)I hope that everyone else has a great day.
Keep it real. Irish Midget.
